Refund Policy
What is refundable, what is final, and how to handle a billing issue.
Scope
This Refund Policy applies to every paid product Cold Approach offers: the article subscription, individual courses, the Texting assistance subscription, coaching bootcamps, and private coaching. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below. Read the policy before paying. We apply these terms consistently to every purchase.
All sales are final
Every purchase is non-refundable except where this policy expressly says otherwise, or where a non-waivable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise. Once payment is processed, your purchase is final.
Article subscription
The Cold Approach article subscription bills monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period, and you keep access through the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.
- No proration.We don’t prorate refunds for unused days, downgrades mid-cycle, or accounts you stop using.
- Annual plans. Annual plans are paid up front and non-refundable. You can switch to monthly at the end of the current annual period.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges are non-refundable.
- Account deletion. Deleting your account does not refund any prepaid period and does not stop a charge already in flight.
Courses
Every course comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If a course isn’t right for you, email hello@coldapproach.iowithin 14 days of your purchase for any reason at all and we’ll refund it. The 14 days run from the purchase date; after that, course purchases are final.
Refunds return the purchase price minus the non-refundable credit card processing fee (see “Credit card fees” below). Course content is digital and available immediately on purchase; the catalogue, sample lessons, and lesson outlines are on the course pages, so you can review them before you buy and during your 14 days.
Texting assistance subscription
The Texting assistance subscription bills monthly. Same rules as the article subscription: cancel any time, no proration, no refund on the current period, access continues through the cycle you already paid for.
Coaching: bootcamps
Bootcamps run on fixed dates with limited seats. Refund and rescheduling rules:
- 30+ days before start: Full refund minus a 10% administration fee, or one-time reschedule into a future cohort at no cost.
- 14–29 days before start: 50% refund or one-time reschedule.
- Less than 14 days, or no-show: Non-refundable. The seat is held; the work is staffed; the cost is committed.
- Cancellation by us. If we cancel a cohort for any reason, you get a full refund or confirmed seat in the next running cohort, your choice.
Coaching: private calls
Private Coaching engagements are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the first paid block (the first session of an intro engagement, or the first deposit on a multi-session package). Subsequent blocks can be paused or stopped any time with 7 days’ notice; sessions you’ve already paid for and not yet used can be rescheduled but not refunded.
Credit card fees
Card networks and our payment processor keep their processing fee even when a charge is refunded, so any refund we issue returns the purchase price minus that non-refundable credit card processing fee. This applies to every refund under this policy, including the 14-day course guarantee.
Duplicate charges and billing errors
If you were charged twice for the same product, charged after canceling, or charged a price different from what was shown at checkout, email hello@coldapproach.iowithin 60 days. We’ll verify against the Stripe record and refund the duplicate or difference.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
All charges and refund eligibility are governed by this Refund Policy. Before initiating any chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute, you must contact hello@coldapproach.io from your account email address. We respond within two business days and will investigate legitimate billing concerns against the Stripe record.
You agree not to initiate, pursue, or threaten a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer, bank, or payment processor for any charge that was legitimately incurred in accordance with these policies. Initiating such a dispute for a legitimate charge without contacting us first constitutes a material breach of your agreement with Cold Approach and may result in: immediate account suspension and revocation of access to all products and services; recovery of all disputed amounts plus bank fees, card-network fees, payment-processor fees, administrative costs, collection costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees; referral of any unpaid balance to a collections agency; and pursuit of recovery through all available legal remedies, including small claims court or civil litigation.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under this Refund Policy, your rights to pursue a legitimate claim for a billing error, or any non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.
Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund right you have under your local consumer-protection law (for example, the EU 14-day right to withdraw on certain digital purchases, where applicable). If a non-waivable statutory right conflicts with anything above, the statute wins.
How to request a refund
Email hello@coldapproach.iofrom the address attached to your Cold Approach account. Include the product, the purchase date, and the reason. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds settle to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
